AkzoNobel Announces First Half 2010 Process Centered Environments Boot Camp Schedule

3/1/2010 8:26:25 AM

AkzoNobel announces the continuation of the innovative Process Centered Environments (PCE) Boot Camp Training Series. The initial schedule encompasses dates running through June. The dates are: Feb. 23-25,  March 9-11, April 20-22 and June 8-10.

Courses are conducted at DCR Systems located in Mentor, Ohio. DCR is owned by Michael Giarrizzo, who has been advocate within the collision repair industry for process centric operations. DCR has collaborated closely with AkzoNobel to bring PCE to the North American market.

PCE was formally introduced to the North American market in early 2009. The program offers multiple levels of engagement.  Activity level is based on the readiness and commitment of the business to begin the journey. Since the introduction, approximately 100 progressive business leaders have been introduced to this total business approach to efficiency, productivity and profitable sustainability.

“The concepts of PCE are totally unique to anything that you will find in the industry today,” said Mike Silly, North American services manager for AkzoNobel. “Therefore, we felt it was only appropriate to deliver the training programs in manner that matched the uniqueness of the concept. The Boot Camp experience has been well received by all that have attended.”
